The brand new cinema magazine Outskirts is out now!

Created by a collective of Critics Academy’s alumni, led by Christopher Small, project manager of the initiative open to young aspiring film critics from all over the world, it features a reflection on cinema, its journeys, and most exciting filmmakers.

The first issue contains, among other things, interviews with Kazuo Hara and Rita Azevedo Gomes, texts on films by Judd Apatow, Alain Guiraudie, and Albert Serra, as well as an 82-page dossier on Soviet filmmaker Boris Barnet, featuring new translations and essays along with unseen stills direct from the archive.
