Founded by Gustavo Lombardo in 1904, Titanus is Italy’s oldest production company. It was instrumental in creating the style of the golden age of Italian cinema, from the post-war period through to the 60s, with films and artists ranging from Sofia Loren and Claudia Cardinale, Fellini and Zurlini. This book, abundantly illustrated, is published on the occasion of the retrospective dedicated to Titanus by the Festival del film Locarno in 2014, curated by Sergio Germani and Roberto Turigliatto.
